Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Project Management Office, ensuring the successful execution of projects and adherence to established standards and processes.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project's success.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Oversee project resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
- Monitor and report on project performance, regularly updating senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in project management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a VP PMO or similar leadership role within an integrated technology and solutions provider or related industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards project success.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within time and budget constraints.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
