- Responsible for achievement of budgeted financial performance as measured by EBIT, working capital and overall contribution.
- Exercise prudence in controlling expenses. •
- Review performance and identifying areas for concern and taking appropriate action to address gaps by involving cross functional teams if required. Business Transformation • Driving transformational business strategy to move from commodities to specialities and products to solution.
- Review of strategic priorities as per business plan.
- Work on developing new speciality products and applications.
- Work on developing new strategic alliances.
- Networking/ Collaborating with possible alliance partners and liaising with key government authorities on policy advocacy etc.
- Working on risk mitigation plans by anticipating challenges. • Responsible for entering into new geographies, products/services, hunting/mining of new account.
- Focusing on Cost improvement projects Streamlining of business process for future expansions
- Identifying process areas for standardization/streamlining/improvement. • Development of related new SLAs/SOPs to drive process excellence.
- Responsible for implementation of SOPs and also measure implementation effectiveness. Employee Engagement and Talent Management
- Developing Speciality chemicals business team to drive the expected business results and strategy.
- Building a culture of continuous performance management – including coaching and regular feedback for Speciality chemicals business.
- Work on strengthening of organisation culture through exhibition of WOW behaviours. Customer Satisfaction
- Continued interaction with Customers to improve customer engagement and satisfaction. • Working on feedback to drive improvement Ensuring Key Statutory Compliance and Corporate Governance
- Review of all compliance related to statutory requirements.
- Ensure necessary controls are in place and working effectively.
- Take preventive and corrective actions on any possible non-compliance to mitigate the compliance risks.
