The role
The Vice President of Product Marketing has global responsibilities for leading and managing a team of product marketers. This role sets the strategic vision and execution cadence for how the company shows and describes the value of their product solutions, leading their team to collaborate with other key stakeholders through the execution of that vision. As a part of the Product Organization, this leader acts as the main bridge from the R&D, Product Management and CTO teams to the rest of the commercial organization to ensure the delivery of customer-centric messaging and content, execution alignment and cross-functional success. He/she must be a deep expert on the company’s products/solutions and associated competitive differentiators, including the ability to demonstrate compelling, outcome-based use cases, and provide feedback for future roadmap decision. This leader will manage and refine product-related content, as one source of the truth for all extended teams. They also must develop effective relationships with customers, channel partners, and the Customer Success team to develop content for launch programs, use cases, videos, presentations and more. He/she also deals well with ambiguity and can identify systemic approaches to solving problems,Skills & Experience Required
- Strong communication skills. The poise and judgment to work regularly with customers, channel partners, consultants and analysts. Strong presentation skills. Exceptional presentation and writing skills that emphasize storytelling, not feature/benefits jargon
- Domain expertise across hardware and software IT environments and the effective transition to Cloud/ SaaS type business models. The innate ability to learn new products/solutions and evaluate them in the context of a competitive market environment.
- Experience in building new processes, team models and/or other workflows to improve organizational efficiencies and execution
- Demonstrated experience using SFDC and other data analytics to make effective business decisions.
- Results-oriented. Strong entrepreneurial drive with a willingness to own their performance and bring others forward with them to drive collective success. Energy and enthusiasm for a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a Cloud or Software as a Service product marketing role. Technically curious. Experience in global go-to-market requirements and familiarity with Cloud/SaaS type selling cycles.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA/MS preferred.
