Main purpose of Job:

The VP/ GM finance main responsibility shall be to manage all finance and accounting operations, coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Preparing company financial reports, which include balance sheets, cash flow, income statements and publish timely to Top Management.
Strategy and Development:

VP/ GM finance shall responsible to financial strategists by guiding the appropriate direction of the company. A controller is often involved in SAP system implementations programs for financial report this includes ensuring the internal controls and process are being followed. The controller shall play a part of role for external audit functions by collaborating with external auditors to ensure financial reporting compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Routine task: Take full leadership and ownership of Finance department and ensure invoices are properly approved and coded in the general ledger. Manage and take ownership of ERP system for defining proper ledger account, accounting framework, financial system in coordination with corporate team.
• Cash flow management: Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimise investment.
• Audit liaison: Coordinating with external financial, stakeholders, compliance and tax auditors and mitigate the business risk.
• Internal controls: Creating and monitoring company policies and internal controls, especially spending controls, to safeguard company assets and reduce fraud. Manage all accounting operations including billing, payroll, A/R, A/P, GL and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. Budget: Assisting or fully creating the annual budget in coordination with other department ehads, including incorporating historical data.
• Debt management: Administering loan agreements for company borrowings and collecting monies owed to the company from customers.
• Financial strategy: Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations.
• Reporting and analysis: Providing financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making including monthly financial statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets and trial balance.
• Cost savings: Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
• Leadership: Mentoring and managing the accounting and financial staff.
• Payroll: Handling payroll processing and labour tax compliance.
• External reporting: Preparing company tax and financial statements, including public filings in line with International Accounting Standard (IAS) and Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Banking: Setting up bank accounts and managing banking relationships.
• Stakeholder management: Advising company managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Candidate should have good knowledge in International Financial auditing, and Educational degree in accounting & finance, Preferable Master degree of Finance & Accounting. Candidate should have Certified on Chartered Accountant (CA) & Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Skill: Preparing and analyzing reports and making improvements to fiscal tools and systems. Problem solving, managing people, Computer MS Excel, graphs, Outlook. Advanced degree in Accounting. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. 

Qualifications and Experience: Education: Honors/Masters/B.com in Finance & accounting/MBA/ CA from reputed University.
Experience-Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
15+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

Age 40 to 45 years.
