My client based in Purfleet require a Warehouse supervisor to manage the night shift working 6.00pm-4.00am Mon-Fri, salary £30K £3K shift allowance. Reach ans counterbalance forklift experience required.

This role is within a goods in and goods out warehouse within the freight industry. Training will be with the day shift, once trained you will then move to supervise the night shift.

• Actively oversee all aspects of the Night Shift including Operations, Security, H&S and Customs and ensure compliance is at the heart of everything we do in delivering an excellent service to our customers
• Collaborate and Communicate with all key stakeholders
• Ensure adequate resource, planning and handovers are in place
  Monitor and manage people (both Staff and Third Party Resource contracted overnight) to ensure the operation is run efficiently with all required tasks executed and completed within the shift
• Train staff as needed, correctly, compliantly and to company and legislative standards for all business
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely handed off to day staff/correct recipient
• Proactive Issue Resolution and escalate all issues that cannot be resolved timely to Line Manager
