Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests to validate web application functionality, ensuring high quality and user satisfaction.

• Work closely with Product and Development teams to align automated tests with business requirements and technical specifications.

• Review test cases, produce test reports, and meticulously document test evidence to substantiate findings.

• Track and manage defects effectively through JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.

• Ensure consistent user experience by validating web applications across multiple browsers and devices.

• Optimize QA processes for efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the scalability and stability of our web platform.

• Verify that all the web implementations adhere to the design specifications using Figma mockups as a reference.

• Engage in all aspects of the Agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on web applications.

• Proficiency in web automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.

• In-depth knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and version control best practices.

• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and Agile development methodologies.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to solve complex problems.

Reporting Structure

The Web QA Automation Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager, collaborating with the Product and Development teams to ensure the highest quality of our web platform.
