Role & responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Workday Financials ecosystem including Core Financials, Procurement, Expenses, Assets, Accounting Center, and Prism Analytics to ensure smooth finance operations.
• Configure and optimize finance processes such as General Ledger, journal entries, period close, allocations, consolidations, and chart of accounts management within Workday.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, drive process improvements, and deliver scalable Workday solutions aligned with business goals.
• Oversee Workday releases, enhancements, security configurations, and finance-related integrations with systems like payroll, banking, EPM, and data warehouses.
• Lead and mentor the Workday Finance team by managing workload prioritization, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate requirements:

• 10+ years of overall Workday experience with at least 6+ years of hands-on expertise in Workday Financials implementation and support.
• Strong functional configuration experience in Workday Financial Management modules including Core Financials, Procurement, Expenses, Assets, and related finance processes.
• Deep understanding of Financial Data Model (FDM), worktags, multi-entity structures, global finance operations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading teams, managing release cycles, handling stakeholder communication, and driving operational support in complex environments.
• Preferred exposure to Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, finance integrations, and global/multi-currency organizations; Workday Pro Certification in Core Financials is an added advantage.
