Responsibilities:
1) Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets for channel financing in the assigned zone.
2) Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
3) Identify and appoint channel partners (dealers, distributors, retailers, etc.) to expand the distribution network and drive sales.
4) Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing necessary support.
5) Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales and promotional campaigns targeting the channel financing segment.
6) Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and potential risks.
7) Monitor and analyze sales performance, market penetration, and channel partner performance, taking corrective actions as required.
8) Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
9) Provide feedback to product teams on market requirements, customer needs, and suggestions for product enhancements.
10) Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in channel financing to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
2) Proven experience of 10 - 17 years in sales, with at least 7-8 years in a leadership role.
3) Strong sales and business development acumen, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
4) Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
5) Demonstrated experience in building and managing relationships with channel partners.
6) Sound understanding of sales strategies, customer acquisition, and retention techniques in the financial services sector.
7) Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
8) Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with internal teams, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
9) Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
