In a recent pulse survey conducted from November 10 to December 1, 2023, among 70 companies operating in Uzbekistan, we unveil the labour market trends for 2024.
Key findings indicate that a significant 79% of companies are gearing up for active recruitment and workforce expansion. Meanwhile, 14% are focusing on replacing departing employees, reflecting a dynamic labor market. Sales and Marketing emerge as the most sought-after specializations, with 62% and 54% of companies, respectively, expressing a demand for professionals in these fields. This highlights the crucial role these areas play in the business landscape of Uzbekistan.
In terms of salaries, almost all (93%) of employers are planning to increase salaries for their employees. Half of them are going to implement raises ranging from 10-12%, signaling a commitment to creating a competitive compensation environment.
Moreover, most companies in Uzbekistan are embracing technological advancements, with a keen focus on process automation and exploring new business opportunities. This trend shows a forward-thinking approach as businesses adapt to the evolving global growth.
