About You:The ideal candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with a solid grounding in UK accounting and a willingness to take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.Essential Experience & Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. At least 3 years' post-graduate experience in a UK finance or accounting role. Practical experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end closing. Good working knowledge of UK accounting and tax requirements, including VAT. Experience working with external accountants, tax advisers and auditors. Strong Excel skills and experience using an ERP or accounting system. Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. A collaborative and professional approach, with the ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately. Desirable: Experience working within an international group or multinational environment. Previous experience reporting to an overseas Headquarters. Exposure to group reporting, finance systems implementation or process improvement projects.
