Our client, a leading manufacturing group, operating as part of a large, diversified business conglomerate is looking to hire a Packaging Production Manager to lead end-to-end packaging manufacturing operations, driving production efficiency, quality, OEE, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across its packaging operations.

Salary – AED 22,000 to AED 25,000 + Family Status + Benefits + Education + Bonus
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end packaging manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective production while meeting quality, delivery, and business targets. Drive OEE, productivity, waste reduction, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily packaging production, capacity, manpower, materials, and production planning.
Drive OEE, productivity, throughput, waste reduction, downtime reduction, and changeover optimization.
Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, GMP/BRCGS, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Oversee offset printing, die-cutting, folding, gluing, and finishing operations.
Partner with Engineering/Maintenance to improve asset reliability and equipment availability.
Control production costs, material consumption, labour productivity, and manufacturing losses.
Lead and develop production supervisors and manufacturing teams.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, and HSE.
Monitor and report key KPIs including OEE, output, quality, waste, downtime, productivity, and cost.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Packaging/Printing Technology, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in packaging, printing, or manufacturing, including 5+ years in a production leadership role.
Strong experience in offset printing and folding carton manufacturing.
Proven track record in OEE improvement, waste reduction, productivity, and operational excellence.
Strong knowledge of die-cutting, folding, gluing, and finishing processes.
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, RCA, ERP, production planning, and performance management.
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is an advantage.
Must-Have Experience
Folding carton manufacturing – essential.
Offset printing – strong hands-on production experience.
Die-cutting, folding & gluing/finishing operations.
Production leadership – minimum 5 years managing production teams/supervisors.
OEE & productivity improvement – demonstrated results in improving OEE, throughput and machine utilization.
Waste & cost reduction – experience reducing material waste, production losses and downtime.
Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing – practical implementation, not just theoretical knowledge.
Production planning & capacity management – managing production against customer demand and delivery schedules.
Quality & compliance – experience with BRCGS/ISO/GMP, ideally in a packaging or food-contact packaging environment.
Maintenance/asset reliability exposure – working closely with Engineering/Maintenance on preventive maintenance, breakdowns and equipment reliability.
Large manufacturing team management – experience leading multidisciplinary shop-floor teams.
