Role OverviewAs a Leadership member – Box Build Segment, you will be responsible for driving business development, sales growth, and customer success in the box build contract manufacturing domain. This role demands strong expertise in RFQ management, customer acquisition, global account handling, and internal cross-functional coordination to achieve high RFQ conversion rates and long-term business partnerships.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Sales GrowthDevelop and execute sales strategies for the box build segment across automotive, consumer electronics, banking, and industrial markets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both in domestic and global markets.Drive customer acquisition and account expansion with measurable revenue targets.Position Organization as a preferred partner for box build contract manufacturing and mechatronics integration.2. RFQ Handling & ConversionManage end-to-end RFQ lifecycle – from customer engagement, requirement gathering, technical alignment, and pricing to proposal submission.Work closely with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain & Product Costing) to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.Achieve high RFQ conversion ratios by aligning solutions to customer needs, cost competitiveness, and value proposition.Track and analyze RFQ win/loss data to continuously improve conversion strategy.3. Customer Relationship & EngagementBuild and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders (Procurement, R&D, Program Managers, and Senior Leadership).Act as the primary point of contact for customer requirements, escalations, and business discussions.Conduct regular business reviews, performance assessments, and feedback sessions with customers.Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.4. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with R&D, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Costing and Program Management teams to deliver customer solutions.Ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal execution capabilities.Facilitate smooth handover of new projects from sales to execution teams.Actively contribute to cost optimization, VAVE initiatives, and project feasibility discussions.5. New Customer Acquisition & Market DevelopmentMap and target potential customers in automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, and BFSI sectors.Generate leads through market research, networking, industry events, and digital platforms.Present Organization's value proposition and box build expertise effectively to decision-makers.Drive entry into new geographies and global accounts with a structured acquisition plan.6. Global Customer HandlingManage relationships with international clients across regions (APAC, EU, US, and Middle East).Understand global business practices, compliance, and cultural sensitivities in customer engagement.Support global RFQs, commercial negotiations, and program launches.Work with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth global deliveries.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales and business development expertise in electronics manufacturing / box build / mechatronics solutions.Proven track record of RFQ handling and high conversion ratios.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage global accounts.Cross-functional collaboration and program management experience.Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and RFQ analysis.Exposure to international markets and customer engagement.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.15+ years of sales/business development experience in electronics manufacturing / contract manufacturing / EMS / box build environment.Proven track record in customer acquisition, global account management, and sales growth.Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, banking/ATM products, or industrial mechatronics preferred.Performance Metrics (KPIs)RFQ conversion ratio (%)New customer acquisition (numbers & revenue contribution)Sales revenue vs. target achievementCustomer satisfaction & retention indexCross-functional coordination effectiveness (measured by project success)
