Candidate Profile The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate: Significant regulatory reporting experience gained within a UK-regulated bank or comparable PRA-regulated financial institution. Strong practical knowledge of PRA, Bank of England and FCA regulatory requirements relevant to banking. Demonstrable hands-on experience across COREP, FINREP, capital, liquidity, leverage, large exposures and related prudential reporting. Strong knowledge of ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar 3, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Solvent Exit Analysis and stress testing, as applicable. Good understanding of UK prudential regulation and regulatory capital requirements. Experience interpreting and implementing significant regulatory change. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting governance, controls, reconciliations, data quality and data lineage. Experience of regulatory reporting systems, automation or reporting transformation. Strong understanding of the interaction between Finance, Risk and Treasury within a regulated banking environment. Experience engaging effectively with senior management, auditors, governance committees and, ideally, regulators. Strong analytical capability and exceptional attention to detail. The ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate their implications clearly to non-specialist senior stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is highly desirable. Typically 8+ years' relevant banking/financial services experience, with substantial recent experience in UK regulatory reporting. Previous leadership, management or significant functional ownership within regulatory/prudential reporting. Additional professional qualifications relating to banking regulation, treasury or risk management would be advantageous. Remuneration £105,000 – £120,000 base salary per annum, depending on experience and overall suitability, together with the institution's applicable benefits package.
