The organization focuses on manufacturing systems, industrialization, cost optimization, supplier development, and continuous improvement.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AGM – Manufacturing Systems professional to lead industrialization projects, develop cost-effective manufacturing solutions, improve equipment productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and drive Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop cost-effective manufacturing and industrialization solutions, including Capex, direct labour, performance objectives, and project timelines.
Manage industrialization projects in line with project objectives, budgets, plant standards, and timelines.
Study and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce labour costs and investment.
Identify and evaluate capable contractors in coordination with the Purchasing team.
Prepare complete industrialization proposals covering Capex, direct labour, speed, OEE, layouts, technical specifications, and timelines.
Manage industrialization projects with cross-functional teams including Process Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance.
Define technical specifications for equipment and coordinate contractor selection.
Supervise equipment design, manufacturing, qualification trials, plant integration, run-off, and production start-up.
Supervise initial sample fabrication in coordination with Plant and Project Quality teams.
Contribute to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize manufacturing cost and production quality.
Recommend product design improvements to minimize manufacturing costs and improve production quality.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
Drive initiatives to eliminate non-value-added activities, scrap generation, process issues, quality risks, and H&S hazards.
Support and strengthen the Plant's Kaizen initiatives.
Identify best practices, propose innovative solutions, and drive test plans.
Contribute to product standardization.
Support the organization's transition towards Industry 4.0.

Qualification
BE / BTech, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain / Operations will be preferred.
Professional Experience
15–20 years of experience in Purchase / Strategic Sourcing.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automotive or automotive electronics manufacturing.
Strong exposure to Tier-1 / Tier-2 automotive suppliers.
