Role Summary:The Security Infrastructure lead will be responsible for governance, policy compliance, operational oversight, and overall security posture of perimeter and application security technologies. The role spans firewalls, IPS, DDoS protection, VPN, WAF, load balancers, SSL offloading, HSM, SIEM integrations, and network packet brokers. This position operates in a 24×7 security environment and requires strong coordination across Infra, SOC, Applications, and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Govern security controls across firewall, IPS, VPN, DDoS, WAF, load balancer, SSL offload, HSM, and visibility platforms.
Review and validate change requests; ensure adherence to security policies, baselines, and SLAs.
Oversee IPS tuning, DDoS posture reviews, SSL/TLS governance, and HSM key‑management processes.
Drive VAPT governance and security device health checks, including scheduling assessments, reviewing findings, validating remediation closure, and publishing consolidated reports.
Ensure complete and accurate log onboarding to SIEM and support incident governance processes.
Conduct policy compliance checks, periodic audits, RCA reviews, and alignment with internal and regulatory security standards.
Maintain documentation, configuration evidence, and periodic reporting for audit readiness.
Coordinate with internal teams to drive closure of identified gaps, risks, and action items.
Support 24×7 operational governance through escalation handling, on‑call rotations, and continuous oversight of security infrastructure events.
Required Skills:
Strong conceptual understanding of firewall, IPS, DDoS, VPN, WAF, HSM, SSL offload, NPB, and SIEM (vendor‑neutral).
Experience in security governance, control oversight, risk management, audit/compliance, and RCA review.
Ability to assess technical changes, understand risk impact, and ensure alignment with security standards.
Strong stakeholder coordination, documentation, SLA tracking, and communication skills.
Prior exposure to operating within a 24×7 security operations setup.
