SCM Finance
India
Role Summary The Manager – Commercial Finance & SCM Controls will report into Supply Chain and carry direct financial ownership of invoicing accuracy, inventory movement control, and revenue recognition triggers including controlling exact details of deliveries. This is a control-and-commercial-acumen role: the person is expected to identify leakage, tighten timelines, and build the SOPs in the SCM function. Key Responsibilities 1. Invoicing Control & reporting • Take independent financial ownership of the invoicing process currently managed within Supply Chain — design and implement a review/approval checkpoint including but not limited to maintaining accurate MDM masters in the ERP, before invoices go out. • Build a reconciliation cadence between invoices raised, dispatch/GRN records, and order data to catch mismatches. • Document the current invoicing process as-is, identify control gaps, and propose a target operating model with clear RACI between SCM and Finance. 2. Inventory Financial Control • Own end-to-end financial control over inventory movement across the master warehouse, marketplace fulfilment stock (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, etc.), and inter-location stock transfers. • Reconcile system inventory (SAP) against physical/marketplace-reported stock on a defined cycle; drive resolution of variances with SCM and channel teams including but not limited to system adjustments, raising discrepancy issues to the marketplaces or quick commerce channels, to reflect correct inventory across the given storage locations. • Own financial control and ageing analysis of RTO (Return to Origin) and RTV (Return to Vendor) stock — track quantity, value, and time-to-resolution; flag stock stuck in transit or unaccounted returns including timely issuance of the credit notes to the vendors, controlling purchase return process to the vendors for the disputed, defected stock. • Support inventory valuation, slow-moving/dead stock identification, and write-off recommendations in partnership with FP&A. 3. Revenue Recognition & Delivery Visibility (B2B) • Own and control the delivery tracker for B2B accounts, ensuring it reflects actual customer-confirmed deliveries, not just dispatch including development of automation/ system driven real time visibility to the management. • Create advance visibility for Finance on revenue recognition — flagging shipped-but-undelivered, delivered-but-un invoiced, and invoiced-but-unconfirmed positions before month-end close. • Partner with Finance on period-end cut-off review so revenue booked matches actual delivery evidence. 4. Credit Notes & Returns Governance • Own the timeline for credit note issuance against customers/marketplace returns/ recalls — track ageing and enforce a defined TAT (e.g., within X working days of return confirmation, in coordination with the Finance). • Investigate and close out aged, disputed, or unmatched return-to-credit-note cases; report a monthly ageing bucket to leadership – Sales/ Finance/ CEO. • Work with SCM and channel teams to reduce the root causes of return-processing delays, not just report the backlog. 5. Process & Control Design • Documentation of SOPs, control checkpoints, and a monthly control calendar for each area above as you build them — this is a deliverable of the role, not a side task. • Propose a phased handover plan for invoicing control from SCM to this role, with defined milestones and sign-off from both Finance and SCM leadership. Qualifications & Eligibility Education • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute. A strong CA-Inter or equivalent with directly relevant D2C/marketplace experience should not be screened out on qualification alone — the commercial exposure matters more than the certificate here. Experience • 5–10 years total experience, with meaningful time in commercial finance, SCM finance, or a controllership role. • Direct exposure to the D2C/marketplace ecosystem is a requirement, not a preference — Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, or comparable. Prioritise candidates who've operated at scale (multi-crore monthly GMV, multi-warehouse/multi-channel) and can point to a specific leakage they found or a control they built, not just a role they occupied. • Hands-on experience with RTO/RTV reconciliation, marketplace inventory, or B2B revenue recognition is a strong differentiator Skills & Competencies • Strong working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP) and marketplace seller-panel data; comfortable reconciling across systems that don't talk to each other cleanly. • Advanced Excel; ability to build and maintain trackers independently without relying on IT • Commercial acumen • Stakeholder management • Comfortable operating in a role with no existing playbook

Account Executive – France
Le Grand-Saconnex / Geneva, France
Competitive Package
Full time
Account Executive – France Manufacturing AI & SaaS | Paris / Île-de-France, hybrid or remote Help French manufacturers build the factory of the next decade. Walk into most factories today and you will still find paper binders, spreadsheets and hard-won know-how that lives only in people’s heads. Our client is changing that, and AI is about to change it much faster. Our client is a fast-growing European Manufacturing SaaS scale-up whose connected-worker platform is already used by leading manufacturers across Europe and North America. It digitises work instructions, quality control, traceability and operator training. Next, it wants AI to write work instructions from engineering data, coach operators in real time and take the admin out of quality. Fresh from a Series A with leading European investors, it is now building its French team. That’s where you come in. What you’ll do • Own the French territory, targeting mid-market and enterprise manufacturers in aerospace and defence, automotive, industrial machinery, electronics and medical devices. • Run the full sales cycle, from the first conversation to a signed, multi-year contract. • Sit down with plant directors, operations and quality leaders and C-level executives to build business cases they can take to their boards. • Work with Pre-Sales, Product and Marketing to shape winning solutions and feed the roadmap with what you hear in the field. • Be the face of the company at French industry events and in your network. What you bring • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, closing complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders. • A real connection to manufacturing: you’ve sold into it, worked in it, or simply love the shop floor. • A consultative style that earns you a seat at the table with senior decision-makers. • Fluent French and English. • Drive, curiosity and the confidence to build something rather than just maintain it. Experience with MES, QMS, connected-worker, PLM, industrial IoT or maintenance software is a real plus. Why this role is worth a conversation • Timing: a well-funded scale-up at the moment it’s building its French business, early enough to leave your mark. • Category: AI on the factory floor is one of the most exciting shifts in B2B software, and you’ll be in the middle of it. • Ownership: real autonomy, visible impact and room to grow as the team scales. • Flexibility: hybrid or remote working across France, with flexible hours. • People: an ambitious, supportive and international team that enjoys winning together. Interested? If you’d rather help transform manufacturing than sell another incremental upgrade, I’d be glad to hear from you. Every conversation is confidential, and I’ll share the full details once we’ve spoken. Peter [email protected]
