KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Integration Development Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from ERP, CRM, databases, files, and APIs into the data platform.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, maintainability, error handling, and logging.
- Develop batch and incremental data ingestion pipelines.
- Integrate data from SQL Server, external databases, flat files, and APIs while ensuring data consistency.
- Support onboarding of new data sources.
- Implement data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, derivations, and business rule transformations.
- Align transformations with data models and support analytics-ready data structures.
- Collaborate with Data and Business Analyst teams to meet reporting and analytics requirements.
Data Jobs Scheduling Responsibilities
- Configure and manage SQL Server Agent jobs and ETL schedules.
- Automate workflows to ensure timely execution, dependency management, and minimal manual intervention.
Documentation and Reporting Responsibilities
- Maintain ETL documentation, data flow diagrams, transformation rules, and release notes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, naming standards, and version control practices.
Project and Coordination Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans.
- Support application implementation, including design, SIT, UAT, training, and deployment activities.
- Perform other responsibilities and projects assigned by Management or the Department Head.
