Role details:

• Title / Designation: Customer Engineer - SQL
• Location: Cairo, Egypt
• Work Mode: Remote (First 3 months, then WFO)

Role & responsibilities:

• Provide various services to our Enterprise customers to increase systems availability, resolve critical issues, and ultimately improve the health of our customers’ environments.
• Consult with experienced technical staff to ensure they have the skills to troubleshoot and maintain their solution in line with Microsoft best practices.
• Provide rapid on-site expertise to resolve critical situations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships, and gain trust and respect for the company.
• Set an example of excellence as a Microsoft representative, enhancing the company's image and reputation through your credibility, preparation, commitment, and first-class delivery.
• Communicate at all levels from CIO to the technical staff on the ground.
• Providing deep technical expertise and solving complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting, and examining possible workarounds and escalations as required.

Candidate requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in SQL server and data management.
• Able to communicate in German (At least a B1 level language proficiency in Speaking and Listening).
• Experience in enterprise customer engagement and face-to-face interactions.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management.
