Their latest blender is a masterpiece of electro-mechanical sophistication (if we do say so ourselves), with lots of electronics, a couple of computers, tons of sensors, several motors, built-in diagnostics and remote cellular monitoring. We’re in the process of bringing more versions to market and we’re looking for a smart and capable Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead our firmware and other software development and enhancement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and integrate software for linux based embedded systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to debug using GDB tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for generating high quality UML standard architectural diagrams.
• Experience in test driven development methodologies.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Html, Javascript, CSS, Python and Shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of standard data structures (lists, maps, trees, array), sorting and search algorithms.
• Experience developing network connected applications using TCP/IP and MQTT protocols.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, performance analysis, kernel and userspace applications.
• Familiarity with Yocto system to build custom Linux OS for ARM/Intel based platforms.
• Understanding and experience with bootloader (UBOOT) and remote software updates.
• Familiarity with standard tools such as- Git version control, Jenkins, Jira.
