Power Conversion Technology Laboratory will play a key role in the Digital Power Business Unit in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as data centers, PV, AC-DC, and DC-DC power supplies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EV Charging Expert Development Engineer to join our team.
As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will be responsible for driving the development of EV Chargers architecture and converter topologies.
Your expertise in power electronics, converter control, and algorithm development will be essential in shaping the future of our EV technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power converter research and development, with a focus on EV Chargers.
Responsibilities
Contribute to Technology Roadmap Development:
Actively participate in the development of the technology roadmap for the next generation of EV chargers.
Provide valuable insights into the evolving technology trends within the EV charging domain.
Research and Development Leadership:
Lead and execute innovative research and development initiatives for innovative EV charger solutions.
Direct the design, verification, and validation of converter concepts within our state-of-the-art R&D laboratories.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
Collaborate with external R&D institutes and Universities to develop novel converter and control algorithms for power electronic applications in the EV charging sector.
Foster strong partnerships to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field.
Intellectual Property Management:
Generate novel ideas and contribute to intellectual property development.
Drive the protection of innovative concepts through the filing of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Requirements
Educational Background:
Hold a Ph.D. or master’s degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.
Min 12 years Business Skills: Possess extensive experience in power converter research and development within the EV charging domain.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate strong expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, and control.
Proficient in algorithm development, preferably with a focus on EV charging or similar applications.
Solid theoretical understanding of basic power electronic converter principles, multi-level converters, magnetic component designs, and wide bandgap semiconductor devices.
Innovation and Publication:
Proven history in initiating and leading innovative technology development initiatives.
Published work in reputable Journals highlighting innovation in power electronics.
Personal Attributes:
Exhibit an important level of self-reliance and an autonomous, target-oriented work style.
Possess a "can-do" attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to think creatively.
Communication Skills:
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willingness to engage in occasional business travels related to ongoing projects.
