Role- Fleet Manager
Location- - Angola
Salary- 2300 USD-3000 USD
Must have experience in managing trucks
Must have experience of managing a fleet of 200+ size
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the garage, ensuring efficient management of truck and car maintenance and repair services.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage a team of mechanics and technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and parts dealers to manage inventory effectively.
- Maintain documentation related to vehicle service records, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by initiating upgrades to equipment and processes.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service quality or delays.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the maintenance department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualification required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or
related field.
- Extensive experience in automotive maintenance and repair, with a
specific focus on trucks and cars.
- Proven leadership experience in managing maintenance teams in a
garage setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern automotive systems and
electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in maintenance management systems and basic computer
applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage
staff and interact with customers.
- Ability to work flexibly and make decisions quickly in a dynamic
environment
