About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer (MTS III) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and has hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will directly shape the backbone of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs following OpenAPI Specifications.

• Work on end-to-end features including database design, service orchestration, and API integration.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning sessions.

• Ensure application security and follow best practices for secure coding.

• Drive and support CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like GitLab or AWS CodePipeline.

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and deployments using AWS CDK (preferred).

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience (5–7 years) in backend development with a focus on microservices.

• Solid understanding of REST API design and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with networking protocols and secure, scalable service implementation.

• Experience with performance tuning and observability in production-grade systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.

• Strong project ownership and leadership skills, especially at MTS III level.
