Key Account Manager – North (Automotive OEMs)
Location: Delhi NCR
Region Coverage: North India
Reporting To: Group Head – Sales & Business Development
Travel Requirement: Travel across North India + Mandatory once a month at Pune HO & Plant

Role Overview
The Key Account Manager – North will be responsible for managing and growing strategic OEM and Tier-1 relationships across the Northern region. This role carries full commercial ownership for assigned accounts and will drive revenue growth, profitability, contract negotiations, and cross-functional alignment between customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own P&L responsibility for assigned OEM accounts in North India.

Develop and execute annual account growth strategy aligned with revenue and margin targets.

Drive RFQs, new platform acquisition and model development opportunities.

Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, tooling recovery, and long-term agreements.

Build multi-level relationships across procurement, R&D, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams.

Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Quality for seamless execution.

Monitor customer performance metrics and resolve escalations proactively.

Provide market intelligence including competitor tracking and regulatory updates.

Ensure smooth new product launches (APQP alignment).

Prepare monthly performance and pipeline reports for leadership review.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile preferred).
• MBA in Sales / Marketing / Finance preferred.
• 12–15+ years of experience in automotive component sales or Key Account Management.
• Strong experience managing North India OEM accounts.
• Proven track record of converting RFQs into profitable business.
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

Travel & Work Expectations
The candidate must be willing to travel extensively across North India for customer engagement. Additionally, the candidate must spend one week every month at the Pune Head Office and Plant for alignment meetings, plant coordination, and strategic planning.
