About the role We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong product sensibilities and possess a passion for pushing technology to the limits. You'll care about the impact your work has on our customers, and optimize for impact rather than the number of lines of code you output. What You’ll do ● Connect the dots between business goals and consumer problems through Product development. ● Solve the most challenging problem of scaling and business logic. ● Design and develop services using Test Driven Development with near 100% code coverage ● Continuously develop and deploy services using CI/CD on a daily basis ● Identify and own meaningful metrics for success and move them dramatically. ● Prepare and present management updates on key initiatives. Communicate clearly at all levels in the organization. ● Conduct multivariate experiments to constantly validate hypotheses and bash all the myths. What we need ● Proven software development credentials having successfully built complex product ● Tech and Product enthusiast who has strong understanding and is willing to shape, drive and implement products at classplus ● Having a successful track record of building scalable software systems. ● Experience with Kubernetes is a must ● Design and build scalable SOA/Microservices with Node.js and Golang ● Experience with Elasticsearch, AWS ● Knowledge of JAVA, Python or React a plus ● Adept at delivering features through build, test and deployment automation ● Extremely outcome oriented, knows clearly why things have to be done can clearly articulate the expected outcome and bring people on board to achieve it. ● Entrepreneurial drive and have hands-on experience in creating products which solves user’s problems. ● Good at defining standards and best practices for how the code is developed ● Good at Design patterns, Algorithms, and Data structures. ● Have outstanding leadership skills, excellent people/communication, and negotiation skills We'd Also Love To See ● Interesting hobby projects, open-source contributions, etc ● Sharing of knowledge- via either formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, providing technical talks, teaching classes, or as a consultant on projects.
