Role: Software Testing Engineer

Functional Area: 

Experienced Quality Assurance (Techno Functional, Automation, API, DB)  

Relevant experience: 3 TO 5 years  

Technical Skills:

 Experience to develop and to execute test suites using Jira, Azure DevOps and open source tools; 

 Experienced in integrating test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; 

 Experienced in SDLC, STLC and Agile Process; 

 Experienced in reviewing requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual and automation testing. 

 Experienced in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the QA process. 

 Have worked with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain a build verification (“smoke”) test.  Experienced in proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.  Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, perf analysis and remediation.  Keeps updated with emerging technology innovations, improvements.
