For a luxury Resort in Tuscany, we are currently recruiting for a
Sales Manager
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible to manage the relationship, saturation, and penetration of a portfolio of accounts based on the allocated geographical market, practice total account management maintaining and growing current usage and increasing revenue for group, transient FIT, travel industry and all other revenue streams.
You will build and nurture relationships with your team to ensure they provide an engaging, intuitive and refined service to our residents and guests.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the highest level of hospitality and professionalism to motivate the team towards the achievement of the highest level of standards. He/She will have an immaculate personal presentation and be passionate about developing their team. In addition, they will be able to maintain excellent working relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers.
Main duties:
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone and email with tailor-made proposals and to follow up all enquires
- Pro-actively hunt for new business from within the allocated geographical market as well developing and managing relationships with the existing account base.
- Reach and exceed room night and revenue targets.
- Think creatively to develop and design new ideas, applications, relationships etc., in order to continue driving business.
- Conduct continuous client entertainment, site inspections, familiarisation trips and weekly client appointments.
- Travel to the key destinations within the geographical market in conjunction with roadshows, trade shows and individual sales calls based on the marketing plan.
- Use of property CRM system Salesforce in compliance with corporate standards and property SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to manage accounts, groups requests and bookings.
- Contribute to the strategy and planning activities of the sales function.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the sales department for luxury hospitality companies
- Excellent knowledge of Middle East, Russia and APAC markets
- Strong knowledge of Leisure segment
- Fluent English and Italian
- Analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
- Proactive and goal oriented, with an entrepreneurial mental attitude
