Vice President – India Sales Head, Hospital Segment
Location: Chennai, Flexible on Locations
Reporting To: Chief Executive
Role Type: Individual Contributor + Team Leadership
Travel: 50–60%
Working Days: 6 days/week (WFH flexibility on Saturdays)About the Organization
Part of one of India’s leading hospital groups, this business vertical focuses on healthcare education, skilling, research, staffing, and global healthcare workforce development, supporting hospitals and healthcare systems in India and internationally.
Role Purpose
Lead the national business growth strategy for hospital staffing, recruitment, workforce solutions, and training partnerships. Build strong relationships with hospital CXOs and drive revenue growth across permanent hiring, contract staffing, and managed workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development across hospital chains, specialty hospitals, and home healthcare providers
- Build and execute national GTM and sales strategy for staffing and workforce solutions
- Achieve revenue targets across permanent hiring, temp staffing, and managed services
- Develop strategic relationships with CEOs, COOs, Medical Directors, and HR Heads
- Advise hospital leadership on workforce planning, staffing optimization, and operational efficiency
- Design customized staffing and training-led workforce solutions for hospitals
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth areas
- Track industry trends including nurse shortages, attrition, specialty gaps, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with recruitment, training, and operations teams for seamless delivery and client satisfaction
- Support technology-enabled staffing and recruitment initiatives
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare leadership
- Prior experience as CEO / COO / Operations Head in a reputed hospital or hospital chain
- Strong understanding of hospital manpower planning and healthcare workforce management
- Proven track record in P&L management and operational excellence
- Familiarity with NABH / JCI standards and healthcare quality metrics
- Strong CXO network within the hospital ecosystem
