A leading infrastructure and construction organization is looking for an accomplished Division Head – Technical (Infrastructure Projects) to lead large-scale civil infrastructure projects across multiple regions. This strategic leadership role requires extensive experience in project execution, business development, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects while driving profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to commissioning and closure.
Drive business growth through client engagement, project acquisition support, and strategic initiatives.
Oversee project planning, feasibility studies, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Manage tendering, bidding, contract negotiations, and project commercial aspects.
Provide technical leadership for design coordination, engineering reviews, and construction methodologies.
Develop and monitor project performance metrics, risk management plans, and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
Drive innovation, process improvements, and organizational efficiency across projects.
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
MBA or relevant management qualifications will be an added advantage.
Minimum 20 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure development, and project management.
Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, flyovers, metro rail, urban infrastructure, bridges, industrial infrastructure, or similar projects.
Strong expertise in project planning, execution, contract management, and commercial operations.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, risk management, quality systems, and safety standards.
