Manager - Human ResourcesLocation: DelhiReports to: COO/ FoundersExperience: 7–12 years in HR, including at least 2 years managing an HR teamDirect reports: A small HR team (recruitment and HR operations)Organisation size: ~120 employees across engineering, product, sales, field operations, and supportAbout the RoleWe are an IoT and supply chain technology company building hardware and software used by logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing businesses in India. Our teams span software engineering, embedded hardware, enterprise sales, and on-ground field operations — which means our hiring and people processes have to work across very different kinds of roles.We are looking for an HR Manager who can lead the people function end to end: managing a small HR team, filling roles quickly and well, and running the operational backboneWhat You'll OwnTeam Leadership● Manage, coach, and develop the HR team across recruitment and operations● Allocate work and set clear individual targets● Handle hiring, performance management, and development planning for the company and your own teamTalent Acquisition● Own the full recruitment cycle: intake discussion with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closure● Build and maintain pipelines across distinct role families — software/embedded engineering, enterprise B2B sales, field technicians, and support● Manage sourcing channels (Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, campus, consultants) and hold recruitment agencies accountable to timelines and quality● Track and improve time-to-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and early attrition; report on these monthly● Improve the candidate experience — structured interview kits, timely feedback, clean offer communicationHR Operations● Run onboarding and induction end to end: documentation, background verification, asset allocation coordination, and first-90-days check-ins● Keep track of employee records in the HRMS (we use Zoho People); such as attendance, leave, WFH, and confirmation cycles● Validate monthly payroll inputs in coordination with Finance — attendance, incentives, reimbursements, full-and-final settlements● Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, POSH (including IC constitution and annual filings), shops & establishments, and labour law registers● Draft and maintain HR policies, employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, and the employee handbook● Manage exits: resignation processing, exit interviews, knowledge transfer checklists, and attrition analysisPerformance & Compensation● Support the annual performance review cycle — timelines, data support etc.● Support salary benchmarking and internal band structuring; help keep offers consistent and defensible● Coordinate incentive and bonus computation with Sales and FinanceEmployee Experience & Relations● Manage employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution● Run engagement initiatives, skip-level feedback, and pulse surveys; act on what comes back● Identify training needs and coordinate learning interventions with department headsReporting● Maintain an HR dashboard covering headcount, hiring funnel, attrition, cost-per-hire, and compliance status● Present a monthly people review to management with insight, not just numbersWhat We're Looking ForMust have● Bachelor's degree; MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent preferred● 7–12 years of HR experience, including hands-on recruitment● At least 2 years directly managing HR team members, with demonstrable examples of delegation and performance management● Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance● Clear written English; able to draft policies and management communication without heavy editing● Discretion and sound judgment — this role sees compensation, performance, and exit informationGood to have● Experience in a 100–500 person product, technology, or manufacturing company● Exposure to managing a diverse ecosystem including hardware/embedded or field-operations roles● Familiarity with the Zoho ecosystem
