B. Job Objective
· Lead our engineering organisation across multiple software disciplines. This includes strategic leadership of engineering managers, strong technical depth in enterprise-scale architecture, and a proven ability to thrive in highly demanding, customer-centric B2B environments.
· Responsible for architecting and delivering next-generation client-server applications for real-time manufacturing and compliance-driven industries, leveraging .NET, C++, AI/ML, and Data analytics.
C. Primary responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and manage a group of Engineering Managers across disciplines (.NET, C++, cloud, AI/ML, Database platforms).
Define and execute the software engineering vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with compliance-heavy manufacturing needs of customers.
Architect and drive enterprise client-server systems from scratch, balancing scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Provide software architecture leadership with expertise in framework design, platform engineering, and technology modernisation.
Foster an innovative and experimental culture that encourages prototyping, hackathons, and the adoption of new technologies.
Oversee API development and integration with and enterprise systems.
Scale Agile development practices across all engineering teams, ensuring consistent delivery discipline and sprint excellence.
Ensure adherence to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and compliance frameworks.
Enable adoption of AI/ML and data analytics in smart manufacturing solutions.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
Mentor and coach engineering managers and senior engineers, developing future leaders within the organisation.
D. Qualifications
Required qualifications:
15+ years of software development experience, with at least 5–7 years in senior engineering leadership, managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven track record in .NET (C#, WCF, WPF) and C++, with expertise in building enterprise-grade, industrial software products that interface closely with hardware and device ecosystems.
Hands-on experience architecting frameworks and platforms from scratch, including software stacks that span from machine-level firmware interfaces to application-layer services.
Deep expertise with structured (SQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and non-structured (MongoDB, CosmosDB) databases.
Demonstrated success in leading Agile development at scale across multiple teams.
Exposure to AI/ML and Data analytics in industrial/manufacturing solutions.
Strong business and strategic acumen, with the ability to balance technical innovation and organisational goals.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of desktop and web software architectures, multi-threaded and real-time designs, memory management, device integration, distributed architectures, and API-first design.
Significant experience in highly demanding, customer-centric B2B environments, with a proven record of meeting tight deadlines, complex requirements, and service-level expectations.
Strong business and strategic acumen, with the ability to balance customer needs with technical innovation.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Expertise in DevSecOps, Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD governance, Azure microservices.
Track record in running innovation initiatives (PoCs, accelerators, R&D programs).
Ability to influence executive leadership and shape long-term technology strategy.
Experience with high availability client and server software handling multiple industrial devices like cameras, scanners, printers and other IoT devices used to scale manufacturing or industrial automation platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (pharma, medical devices, etc.)is a plus.
