Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & President (Finance & Accounts)Grade: Senior Management Role Purpose The Head of Plant Accounts is responsible for leading and managing the accounting & commercial functions of the manufacturing units at Rajasthan & Haryana, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, monthly closing of accounts, payables management, audit facilitation, and timely finalization of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Lead the overall plant accounting and financial reporting function. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (Ind AS / IFRS) and Companies Act requirements. Review general ledger balances and ensure accuracy of financial records. Monitor accounting policies and ensure uniform implementation across all entities. 2. Consolidation of Accounts Manage consolidation of financial statements of subsidiaries, associates, joint ventures, and group companies. Ensure elimination of inter-company transactions and balances. Coordinate with finance teams across business units and branches for timely submission of financial information. Prepare consolidated financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting. Support management in evaluating financial performance of group entities. 3. Accounts Payable Management Oversee vendor accounting and coordinate with HO for payments. Monitor aging of payables and optimize working capital. Ensure compliance with payment terms and contractual obligations. Implement strong controls over procurement-to-payment processes. Review vendor reconciliations and resolve outstanding issues. 4. Balance Sheet Control & Reconciliations Ensure periodic reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts. Ensure proper accounting of inventories and manufacturing-related transactions. Drive continuous improvement in closing and reconciliation processes. 5. Internal Audit Coordination Act as primary coordinator for internal audit activities. Facilitate audit reviews and provide required information to auditors. Monitor implementation of audit recommendations. Strengthen internal controls and financial governance framework. Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions. 6. External & Statutory Audit Management Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors, Cost Auditors, and Regulatory Auditors in coordination with HO. Ensure timely completion of annual and quarterly audits. Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation. Address audit observations and ensure closure of audit issues. Support Audit Committee presentations and financial reviews. 7. Budgeting & Financial Analysis Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
