You will be expected to network within each prospective retailer, establish and maintain relationships, and navigate between the various buying teams to build a pipeline of opportunities. Even after RFQs have been received, the BDM will work with the Commercial Director to execute them in a timely manner, and will follow up to ensure we remain on the prospective retailer’s radar. For many retailers on your list, we already know the relevant buyer or buying team; for the rest, you will identify them. Packaging experience is not essential, but candidates from the packaging industry are the most favourable outcome and would certainly qualify for the top end of our salary offer. However, we will consider any candidate who can demonstrate experience selling any product into North American or European retailers; this is the key. The position is fully remote from India.
