• Act as the primary technical advisor to clients by developing strategic roadmaps, business cases, infrastructure strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and long-term investment plans for mission-critical facilities.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in delivering highly resilient and sustainable data centre solutions while ensuring alignment with international standards, client objectives, operational requirements, and industry best practices.
• Review and provide technical assurance for engineering studies, infrastructure assessments, technical reports, design documentation, risk assessments, capacity planning, and operational strategies to ensure the highest standards of quality and technical excellence.
• Evaluate critical infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, UPS systems, standby power generation, cooling technologies, mechanical systems, ICT infrastructure, structured cabling, security systems, fire protection, and building management systems to optimise operational resilience and efficiency.
• Advise clients on capacity planning, redundancy strategies, business continuity, disaster recovery planning, workload optimisation, cloud migration strategies, and long-term operational sustainability.
• Support the development of resilient digital infrastructure capable of supporting hyperscale cloud environments, enterprise data centres, AI workloads, high-performance computing (HPC), edge computing, and future technology platforms.
• Collaborate closely with engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, ICT, structural, architecture, sustainability, cybersecurity, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project integration and successful delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, sustainability objectives, and industry frameworks while promoting best practices across all stages of project execution.
• Participate in technical workshops, client presentations, design reviews, and executive-level meetings, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, energy efficiency, resilience, scalability, and lifecycle cost optimisation through innovative engineering solutions and emerging technologies.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities, preparing technical proposals, contributing to bids and tenders, delivering client presentations, and strengthening long-term strategic partnerships.
• Contribute to organisational knowledge sharing, innovation programmes, and thought leadership initiatives by monitoring emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving digital infrastructure practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering teams, promoting continuous learning, collaboration, and professional development across the organisation.
Candidate Requirements
